TERMS OF SERVICE

These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of the BookGlow website and your purchase of any product from us. By browsing this site or placing an order you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

1. Who we are
BookGlow operates this online store. You can reach us at any time at getbookglow@outlook.com. Our store is hosted on Shopify.

2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live, to place an order. By ordering you confirm that you meet this requirement and that the payment method you use belongs to you.

3. Products
We sell portable smart projectors. Product images are provided for illustration and colours may vary slightly depending on your screen. Technical specifications are those published on the product page at the time of your order. We do not guarantee that any product will be permanently available.

4. Prices and currency
All prices are shown in US dollars and include no hidden charges. Shipping is free on every order, worldwide. Prices may change at any time, but a change never affects an order that has already been accepted. If a price is listed incorrectly due to an obvious error, we may cancel the order and refund you in full before dispatch.

5. Taxes and customs duties
Depending on your country, import duties, VAT or customs charges may be applied by your local authorities on delivery. These are not included in the price and are your responsibility. We have no control over them and cannot refund them.

6. Orders and acceptance
Your order is an offer to buy. A contract is formed only when we send you a confirmation that your order has been dispatched. We may refuse or cancel any order, including where the product is unavailable, where there is an error in the price or description, or where we suspect fraud or an unauthorised payment. If we cancel, you are refunded in full.

7. Payment
Payment is taken at checkout through our payment providers. We do not store your card details. If your payment is declined or reversed we may cancel or suspend your order.

8. Shipping and delivery
Orders normally leave the warehouse within 1 to 2 business days and arrive within 7 to 15 business days, depending on your destination. These are estimates, not guarantees, and delays caused by carriers, customs or events outside our control are not our responsibility. You will receive tracking by email once your order ships. It is your responsibility to give a complete and correct delivery address. Parcels returned to us because of an incorrect address may incur a reshipping cost.

9. Risk and ownership
Risk of loss or damage passes to you when the product is delivered to the address you provided. Ownership passes once we have received payment in full.

10. Returns, warranty and cancellations
Our Returns and Refunds Policy forms part of these terms and sets out our 30 day warranty, what we accept, and the additional rights that apply to customers in the European Union, including the 14 day right of withdrawal and the legal guarantee of conformity. Nothing in these terms limits any right you have under mandatory consumer law in your country.

11. Correct use of the product
The projector must be used as described in its manual, connected to mains power with the adapter supplied. Do not open, modify or repair it yourself, do not expose it to liquid, and do not obstruct its vents. Damage caused by misuse, accidents, drops, liquid, unauthorised repairs or normal wear is not covered.

12. Software and apps
The projector ships with an Android based system and a built in app store. We do not guarantee that any specific application is or will remain available in that store. Where an application is not available there, it can still be used through AirPlay or screen mirroring from your phone, tablet or computer. What we guarantee is that both routes are supported, not the availability of any individual app. Third party applications and services are governed by their own terms.

13. Intellectual property
All content on this site, including text, product descriptions, images, video, graphics and the BookGlow name and branding, belongs to us or our licensors and is protected by intellectual property law. You may not copy, reproduce, republish or use it commercially without our written permission.

14. Your content
If you submit a review, comment, photograph or other content to us or to our social channels, you grant us a non exclusive, royalty free, worldwide licence to use, reproduce and display it in connection with our business. You confirm the content is yours to share and that it is not unlawful, misleading or offensive. We may remove any content at our discretion.

15. Acceptable use
You agree not to use this site for any unlawful purpose, not to attempt to gain unauthorised access to it, not to interfere with its operation, and not to use automated systems to scrape or copy it.

16. Third party links and services
This site may link to third party websites and uses third party services for payment, hosting, analytics and shipping. We are not responsible for the content, policies or practices of those third parties.

17. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses, loss of profit or loss of data arising from your use of this site or of the product. Our total liability in connection with any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for any liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law, including your rights as a consumer.

18. Force majeure
We are not responsible for any failure or delay caused by events outside our reasonable control, including natural events, strikes, carrier failures, customs action, power or network outages, or government measures.

19. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect and use your personal information and forms part of these terms.

20. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms at any time. The version published on this page when you place your order is the version that applies to that order.

21. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by Spanish law. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory rules of the country where you live, and you may bring proceedings in the courts of your own country. Consumers in the European Union may also use the European Commission online dispute resolution platform at https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.

22. Severability
If any provision of these terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions stay in full force.
